roles are formal with specific responsibilities such as HOD’s.
Other more informal roles emerge as teachers interact with
their peer teachers. This ensures that teachers can find ways
to lead that fit their talents and interests. Some teachers might
be curriculum leaders where others might be instructional
specialists. One teacher might be an activist for tradition and
another the perfect catalyst for change.

shape the culture of their schools, improve student
learning, and influence practice among their peer
teachers.

7. The Workshop Method:
The workshop will be conducted in English / Afrikaans. At the beginning of the
workshop each delegate will be requested to complete his/her own leadership
profile. This will be followed by a Tall Trees PowerPoint presentation where every
delegate discovers his/her unique leadership profiles. The profiles remain the
property of Tall Trees ProfilesTM, and will be collected from each delegate once the
test results have been transferred to the workbooks. The Tall Trees workbook is
the property of each delegate and contains practical growth areas for personal –
and leadership development.
