The main purpose of the
song within our Music
Video will be the juncture
of someone ‘finding
themselves’ after the
breakup of a relationship.
Therefore, the physical and
metaphorical reference of a
fire will be mainly shown
throughout a variety of
shots during the chorus of
the song.
As the fire in the setting
background of a forest-
type natural area, this will
act as the main visual link
relating both the narrative
element of our music video
and the lyrics of our song.
In this section of the
music video, we could
produce the biggest
climax throughout the
video. As these lyrics
are most powerful, the
actor could be showing
extreme emotion such
as distraught crying,
violence along with the
use of more fast paced
editing to increase
tension and the pace of
the music video,
generating a climax.
The lyrics of the song
although showing a sort of
break up and tension
between perhaps two
people in the repetitive use
of ‘we’, the song is quite
open to interpretation
which helped us as a group
when deciding to style of
music video.
The main narrative
