The
goal
of
the
Infinite
Reach
Network
(IRN)
is
to
establish
a
community
of
Métis
students
at
the
University
of
Toronto
in
hopes
of
connecting
and
supporting
one
another
through
regular
gatherings
and
conversation.
The
Infinite
Reach
Network
will
also
host
a
series
of
events
which
are
open
to
all
Aboriginal
and
non-‐Aboriginal
students,
faculty,
and
staff
interested
in
learning
about
and
discussing
Métis
culture
and
issues.
In
recognition
of
Louis
Riel
Day,
the
IRN
is
honored
to
have
Elder
Joe
Paquette
share
teachings
on
“The
Métis
People:
History
and
Culture”
for
its
first
gathering,
scheduled
for
Friday
November
18th
from
11:00-‐12:00pm
at
First
Nations
House,
563
Spadina
Avenue,
3rd
Floor,
in
the
Borden
Building
North.
