NORTHERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY GLOBAL AMBASSADOR AWARD
SCHOLARSHIP
Northern Michigan University is committed to attracting the best and brightest
students from around the world to their beautiful campus on the shores of Lake
Superior. To do this, they proudly announce a new scholarship for high achieving
international students – the Global Ambassador Award.
The Global Ambassador Award is given to international undergraduate students with a high school
or transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher (on the U.S. grading scale). The Global Ambassador Award is
worth $2,200 each semester, and $1,000 for the summer session. In order to retain the
scholarship, students must maintain an NMU GPA of 3.0 or higher, and they must commit to a set
number of cultural learning and/or community service activities on campus and in the Marquette
community.

FOR WOMEN
St. Catherine University is committed to the development of effective,
ethical leaders. Through study, practice and life experience, individuals
have opportunities to enrich the knowledge, refine the skills and clarify the
attitudes essential for responsible action.
Catherine T. McNamee International Student Scholarship is awarded to female, bachelor's degree-
seeking students enrolled at St. Catherine University. Scholarships are based primarily on
academic achievement and financial need. Scholarships range up to $18,500 per year while
enrolled full time. The largest scholarship covers approximately half of tuition and room and board
costs for students who live on campus.

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW EDUCATIONUSA

A rich variety of courses in substantive law and applied lawyering skills provides Washington
University law students with the training necessary to excel in both legal reasoning and practice
techniques.
Washington University School of Law recently announced a ground-breaking course in Legal
English to help international legal practitioners develop the skills needed to conduct law-related
business matters. The law school is the first top-tier U.S. law school to offer such a course in an

NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY ACHIEVEMENT
SCHOLARSHIP
Northwest Missouri State University has been offering students a

3. UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL MISSOURI MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
The University of Central Missouri was founded in 1871 with just a few
dozen students and more than 140 years later it serves nearly 12,000
students from the state, regional and national levels. The university also
has a diverse representation of international students from nearly 50
countries worldwide.
Entering graduate students who secure “Regular” admission into University of Central Missouri
qualify. Successful applicants need to have earned an overall minimum undergraduate grade point
average of 3.25 (4 point scale). Applicants should present a career goal statement, GRE, GMAT,
and/or TOEFL results if available as well as a brief statement stating why you believe we should
consider you for this award.

EDUCATION
