INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
IUPUI offers a wide range of merit and competitive scholarships. Merit
scholarships are based on academic standings reflected in a completed
application for both incoming freshman and transfer students.
These scholarships range from $10,000-$48,000 over two or four years depending on the
scholarship. Competitive scholarships require an additional application and admission into the
Honors College. Recipients demonstrate academic excellence with global citizenship along with an
outstanding academic performance and are awarded $64,000 over four years. Individual schools
offer scholarships to international students as well.

CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE MERIT
AWARDS
$8,000-$20,000 per year! CLU offers merit scholarships to
undergraduate international students. Apply for admission and you will be
considered for these awards automatically. Talent scholarships are also offered based on audition
or portfolio for art, music and theatre arts.

2. GEORGIA COLLEGE AND STATE UNIVERSITY MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Georgia College offers either full, out-of-state tuition waivers or half, out-
of-state tuition waivers, which are awarded on the basis of demonstrated
academic ability, evidence of extra-curricular involvement and financial
need. To be considered for the ISS, applicants must have on file a completed application for
admission and completed ISS application by the stated deadline.

BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Boise State is Idaho’s metropolitan research university, located in the state’s

UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE STUDENT
SCHOLARSHIPS
University of New Mexico is a place where cutting-edge research and
creative endeavors flourish. Offering more than 215 degree and certificate programs, UNM has 87
bachelor’s degrees, 72 master’s degrees and 38 doctoral programs. The International Amigo
Scholarship entitles qualifying international students to a non-resident tuition waiver (value of more
than $10,000 per year) and a cash award of $200 per year- provided a student meets renewal
requirements. This means the student will pay only in-state tuition and other expenses.

3. ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY OFFERING NEW COURSE IN DATA MINING AND PREDICTIVE
ANALTYICS
Founded in 1870 by the Vincentian Community, St. John's is known for giving students the
knowledge, skills and confidence to serve others while achieving personal and professional
success. Graduates become leaders in their professions, their communities and the world.
St. John's University will now be offering a new course starting for Fall 2014. It will be a M.S degree
in Data Mining and Predictive Analytics. Computer Science or Software Engineers would be a good

NORTHERN STATE UNIVERSITY AWARDS RECORD AMOUNT OF
FINANCIAL AID
This fall, enrollment numbers for Northern State University include an
increase of high-achieving students, with triple the number of recipients of
the university’s highest level of the WolfPACT Scholarship. The largest
total growth category in the past three years is among recipients with an
ACT score of 24-27 or SAT score of 1090 (CR +M). There are 96 this fall, as compared to 86 in
2012-13 and 67 in 2011-12.
International students are encouraged to apply for scholarships at Northern State, and should work
with an EducationUSA adviser to complete their application.
