Areas of Immediate Need The North Pond The South Marsh The Butano Channel Improperly managed flow gates allow salt water intrusion into the freshwater pond, wiping out habitat for gobies, frogs, and snakes The creek has become so obstructed and diverted that native steelhead and salmon can no longer migrate to their spawning grounds or return to the ocean Anoxic water flows cause massive habitat degradation and fish die-off each winter
