3. About ISEN
ISEN for engineering and health science is a professional body which has been formed with the
objective to offer effective and fair admission procedure, to assess the merit of the Nepal students
who are keen on pursuing courses in engineering and health sciences in India. It is responsible for
organizing the common entrance test, publication of results, rank list and conduct centralized
single window counseling for student of Nepal on basis of merit and as information center of
participating institutions.
ISEN complies with judgment and order of Supreme Court of India to stop menace of donation
and provides education on basis of academic merit. It also provides scholarship to under
privileged students. All participating Colleges of ISEN are RGHUS, VTU, AICTE approved
Directorate of technical education and Govt. of India recognized respectively. ISEN lays emphasis
on rural and under privileged section of society, giving importance to girls, providing them full

ISEN only deal with institutional preference quota or management quota and NRI quota it dose not
interfere in any quota as related to Indian student.
This year ISEN will be held on Saturday 02/06/2012 Time : 10-00 am to 12-00 pm
ISEN is the first organization to initiate a step towards conducting a special exam for Nepali
students collaborating India and Nepal and taking the relationship further. ISEN aims on tapping
the untapped Nepali talent who go unnoticed due to lack of financial support and proper
guidance.
ISEN provides guidance to the Nepali students while choosing their institutions and
courses. It also helps students securing bank loans if required. ISEN tries to provide a better
future to students by facilitating placements in various organisations through their membering
colleges.

course. ISEN 2012 is scheduled at test centres located conveniently across respective district.

approved by AICTE, MCI and directorate of technical education, India.
Institutions under ISEN are self-financed, affiliated by directorate of technical education, India, and
approved by AICTE. It facilitates admission in engineering and health sciences.

6. Scholarship schemes
The organization provides scholarship to the meritorious students of Nepal on the basis
of the person marks on ISEN Exam.
10% of the Total Student appearing for ISEN Exam will be given Scholarships.
To the highest of the 100 Students in Indo Nepal Scholarship exam will get relaxation in
tuition fee through Scholarship.
1st Rank to 10th Rank 85% Scholarship
11th Rank to 20th Rank 50% Scholarship
21st Rank to 70th Rank 25% Scholarship
71th Rank to 100th Rank 10% Scholarship
There is special scholarship consideration for girls student .
There will be 100 scholarship apart from above scholarship individual memeber colleges
of ISEN .
Any matter related to scholarship will be decided by ISEN advisory members

There will be 100% placement assistance from the participating colleges.

8. HOW TO APPEAR FOR EXAMINATION
1) Applications are available at
a. Sunrise Banks (all Branches)
b. ISEN Centres (Details given at back page)
c. New Papers / Magazine
2) After receiving the Form candidate has to pay Rs. 250 (INR) to Sunrise Bank Branches / ISEN Centres
3) Keep the Deposit Challan / Receipt which is mandatory to appear in the examination.
4) Bring the completely filled application along with the Bank Challan or ISEN Receipt and also
3 Passport Photos at the Examination Centre.
5) If candidate fails to bring any of the above maintained documents He / She won't
be allowed to write the examination.
6) Exam Centers will be displayed in the internet www.isen.info after entering the Application
Number of the candidate or will be known to candidate at ISEN Centres.

WRITTEN EXAM STRUCTURE
For all courses there will be 100 Marks questions
All objective type questions.
Each questions will be one mark each.
There is no negative marking.
Details will be in question paper for each course.
