4. Symptoms
S Some symptoms of Lactose Intolerance are:
S Abdominal bloating
S diarrhea
S Vomiting
S Cramps
S flatulence
5. Diagnosis
S To Diagnose you there are many things they may do. There is a breath test and
a blood test.
S For the breath test they make you drink lactose then breath into a machine the
machine will tell how much hydrogen is in the breath.
S The blood test is a way to see how much glucose is in your blood. The last
thing the doctor may do, is ask you to keep a journal of what you eat.

6. Treatment
S There is no immediate cure for lactose intolerance but there is stuff that will allow you to
have the sugar in mammalian milk.
S There are pills that you can take to allow yourself to have milk. A way that will recover your
enzymes is if you have lots of calcium.
S The most obvious one is just not eat lactose without taking that pill.

7. People at risk
S The most people at risk in this world are older people,
younger people and Asians. Older people have a very
high chance to be lactose intolerant because as you get
older your enzymes decrease so you can not digest the
sugars in milk. No body really knows how so many
Asians are lactose intolerant. My guess is that it is just
genetics.
