PROBLEM STATEMENT
“Primary education is the foundation upon which the
child’s future is built. Tampering with it, weakens the
base rendering children incapable to make a progress
in their lives”
 Over 99% of the 7.95 lakh teachers, who appeared for the
central Teacher eligibility test, failed to clear due to outdated
B.ed degree system. NCERT payer says the B.ed programs is to
short and focus on “ Rote Memorization” rather than “
teaching for understanding”.
 Bihar, U.P, and West Bengal have the highest number untrained
teachers.
 PISA( Programme for International Student Assessment) ranks
India almost at the bottom of the pack in terms of math and
English literacy.
 Very high student teacher ratios and low attendance of
students.
 Teachers are not taking the class and parents does not send his
children to school.
The Correlates of Corruption in India: Analysis and Evidence
from the States
The figure indicate that low literacy rate one of the
most important cause of corruption.

PROPOSED SOLUTION
IMPLEMENTATION
TARGETTING- Firstly, the target is set based on the existing reports of
the most down-trodden areas which need the maximum attention.
FOCUS- The focus is laid on the rural areas which are in much need of
quality education.
TRAINING- A training program is devised specifically for teaching in rural
areas.
INVOLVEMENT- The training program must include not just the
aspiring teachers but also the youth (comprising students of colleges)
who are eager to contribute in social welfare.
INFRASTRUCTURE- More and more construction of school premises
and usage of abandoned buildings, Government establishments.
INSPECTION- Surprise inspection by concerned authorities and a
feedback system wherein the students rate their teachers.
Inspiring activities to parents through children activities and
motivational films & video.

Tampering with it, weakens the base rendering children incapable to make a progress in their lives”  Over 99% of the 7.95 lakh teachers, who appeared for the central Teacher eligibility test, failed to clear due to outdated B.ed degree system. NCERT payer says the B.ed programs is to short and focus on “ Rote Memorization” rather than “ teaching for understanding”.  Bihar, U.P, and West Bengal have the highest number untrained teachers.  PISA( Programme for International Student Assessment) ranks India almost at the bottom of the pack in terms of math and English literacy.  Very high student teacher ratios and low attendance of students.  Teachers are not taking the class and parents does not send his children to school.

  • 5. IMPLEMENTATION TARGETTING- Firstly, the target is set based on the existing reports of the most down-trodden areas which need the maximum attention. FOCUS- The focus is laid on the rural areas which are in much need of quality education. TRAINING- A training program is devised specifically for teaching in rural areas. INVOLVEMENT- The training program must include not just the aspiring teachers but also the youth (comprising students of colleges) who are eager to contribute in social welfare. INFRASTRUCTURE- More and more construction of school premises and usage of abandoned buildings, Government establishments. INSPECTION- Surprise inspection by concerned authorities and a feedback system wherein the students rate their teachers. Inspiring activities to parents through children activities and motivational films & video.

The students get a chance to evaluate the performances of their teachers. The level of primary education is enhanced such that the concepts are clearly inbuilt into the young minds. Strong base is created for students to understand the concepts at a higher level.

  • 9. MITIGATION Making parents aware of the benefits of proper education. Quality enhancement through proper implementation, supervision and continuous evaluation. Strict regulations for appointment of teachers. Proper feedback mechanism and regular assessment.
