HOW?
POLITICAL PARTIES MUST
PUBLICLY ACCOUNT FOR THE

COMPANIES AND BUSINESSES
MUST BE PERMITTED TO MAKE
DONATIONS TO RECOGNIZED
POLITICAL PARTIES OUT OF AFTER
TAX PROFITS.
BY INCREASING THE LIMIT OF
EXPENDITURE
The basic idea is that it is better to uncover things
than to ignore their presence. By and large almost
all parties use black money during elections. This
exercise can be curbed by allowing companies to
legally fund these parties.

PROCEDURE :
6. Why youth voters?
Youth voters are those
voters in the age group of
18 to 25 years. Most of the
voters in this age group are
first time voters
There is no formal or
informal mechanism to
prepare voters on how to
exercise their democratic
duties.
Why this campaign?
To instil a sense of
belonging among the youth.
To make them aware of
their rights and duties
To enable them to indulge
in quality discussions about
the politics of country.
Awareness campaign to reach out to
youth voters using social media:
Holding
worksho
ps in
colleges
NGOs can
help to some
extent in
spreading
awareness
among the
youth.
Quiz apps on
elections (regional
and national)
could be of some
help.
Competitions on this
theme in education
institutions and also at
district level to make the
voters esp. the youth
aware.
Political
parties can
hold
workshops in
colleges and
other institutes
about their
agenda , etc.
during the
canvassing
period.

7. 1. Finger print system: This system can tackle the problem of booth
capturing wherein multiple votes are casted by a single voter.

WORKING:
1. Voter needs to put her Aadhar
card in the Aadhar card reader
machine.
2. Then imprint her fingers on
the ‘fingerprint reading
machine’.
Voter must be allowed to caste
vote when her fingerprint
matches with that of the
aadhar card.

8. SOLUTIONS TO POST-ELECTION
PROBLEMS
An intense survey should be conducted
by EC to disclose the wealth of post
holding candidate and his family before
conducting next general election. This
value should be compared with the
earlier estimate of wealth that was taken
before he/she was elected.
This will not only help in keeping black
money at bay but shall also prevent
corrupt people to enter once again in
politics.

PRESENT
SCENARIO
11. 11
Money power and politics have
become synonymous. Lack of
transparency in funding in our
electoral democracy is making
politicians corrupt and refused
to be self accountable. Its time
to end the lacunae and it’s the
time for the republic of India
to stand up.
