and thinking is an activity
that we control.

“I’ve seen the light!”
“I had the same thought.” ……What makes it
private and exclusive is our individual perception.

are not private or exclusive

Pure thought-pictures or concepts are
not exclusive and result from thinking
but our thinking is based on our
perception and that is exclusive to each
of us.
23. THINGS Our perception of some thing
is our own personal affair.
“I’ve got the
evidence of my
own eyes!”
It is only the ‘apparent reality’ of some thing that
we can perceive with our everyday senses.
A ‘residual reality’ of some thing
remains after our associations with it
have been extracted.

24. In my thinking, prompted my sense
perceptions, I am alone – but…..
my thinking also connects me to the world.
Precisely because it is my thinking –
actively living ‘in the moment’ – I can’t
observe it. I can only observe the thought.
Through thinking –
we are a part of the world
and apart from it.

If the ‘Residual Reality’
of some thing lies beyond the
observation of sense perception,
what can we do?
26. Rely on more sophisticated
technology– even tho’ our
thoughts about some thing
observed are immediately
affected by our perception
and associations.
Accept some things will
remain beyond our
understanding. Be humbly
content with a faith in
‘something more’ – and
not try to prove it.
Strengthen active ‘in the moment’
intuitive thinking developing
‘extra-to-sensory’ perception.
27. Our thinking connects us with things our senses perceive
but in order to grasp those things
we bring them ‘down to size’ into a thought-picture.
We separate ourselves again from the world.
We are spectators.
28. To explore some thing’s full reality requires that we
become involved.
Strengthen our intuitive thinking
with humility and attentiveness.
