1. The Butterfly and the Dragon By: Iresha Bostic

2. Once day a mommy caterpillar laid an egg.

3. After a few days the egg began to hatch. Out of the egg came a baby caterpillar.

4. After the caterpillar was born, he set off for an adventure. His mother was no where to be found, so he had to find food all by himself. All he ate was leaves.

5. After the little caterpillar was full, he curled up in his chrysalis and went to sleep. He hung from the tree for days and days.

6. Until finally he began to wake up. But to his surprise, he was not a caterpillar anymore. He turned into a beautiful…

7. Butterfly!!

8. The butterfly loved his new wings. He flew up in the sky.

9. Down to the ground.

10. And over high mountain tops.

11. As he was flying, he saw a small dragon all alone.

12. So the butterfly swooped down to make friends with the baby dragon.

13. The dragon and the butterfly became very good friends and flew off into the sky to began their new friendly adventure.
