Lumshnong in Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya. It produces 1 Lakhs
MT of Cement per month. It has more than 450 dealers across
NE Region and North Bengal. It has 28 sales promoters. It

• This study is currently one of the first
complete sets of data available on Enterprise
Resource Planning Systems in Topcem Cement
• Overall, we found that the benefits that result
from the application of an ERP in accounting
department are great in number and most of
these are rated very high. Thus, we are in the
position to argue that it is worthwhile for an
enterprise to include accounting in its ERP
system.
17. SUSSESTION
• Accountants need to have good IT skills to
apply their knowledge in this new IT-led work
environment.
• Top management support, collaboration
within the organization and between the
organization and the ERP provider and
employee training/participation appear to be
successful ingredients in ERP applications.
