* Perform building retro-commissioning and audits within JPL to provide recommended upgrades
to meet Title 24, and executive order 13693 in respective to energy cost savings.
* Responsible for developing and providing all necessary documentation for the design of all new
equipment being integrated into the SCADA system, such as SOW, engineering plans,
specifications, and project schedule.
* Responsible for approving all HMI/GUI changes in the SCADA system.
* Leading the replacement effort of all mechanical relays with new SEL relays, along with providing
the network infrastructure and protocol and integrate into the SCADA system.
* Perform field investigations and update current single line diagram to reflect what is installed in the
field for all motors, switchgears, circuit breakers, protective relays, power meters, UPSes, chillers,
cooling towers, generators, and VAV’s.
* Responsible for selecting the proper SEL Protective Relay and coordinating the installation and
making sure that all necessary network infrastructure is available along with identifying the correct
protocol to integrate into the SCADA system.
* Conduct quality control and assurance of all new and modified equipment by performing field

* Technical lead for implementation of energy efficient equipment for power and mechanical
equipment such as lighting, chillers, and VFD’s to meet State of California Title 24 and local
requirements and produce cost savings payback.
* Manage and approve updates and changes being requested on the GUI HMI/SCADA
(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system that monitor and control the Power, Water,
Gas, and HVAC equipment and provide 24/7 support.
* Prepares monthly correspondence, reports, and presentations of power usage (kWh), Gas, water
and generation equipment (run time, test time, and fuel consumption) in order to meet cost
savings and AQMD requirements.
* Lead and install revenue grade power meters and peripherals (CTs and PTs) rated at 16.5kV,
