PROFILE Senior Systems Analyst
Working as a Senior Systems/Business/Data Analyst on various projects,
systems and companies over the past 21 years. Valuable knowledge gained in
the mining industry, supply chain business as well as insurance both life and
short term, reassurance and banking environments. Extensive experience in
project documentation which includes among others Business Requirement
Document, Business SystemSpecification, Use Case Specification, Technical
System Design, Impact Analysis, Maintenance Guide, UML diagrams –
Structure, Class, Component , Object, Activity, Case etc. Key role player for KYC
FCC Attestation and compilation of MI BRD and demo of new reporting
solution to all business stake holders. Forte is Natural/Adabas but have gained
substantial experience in SQL, XML, MIS, MS Suite, Ab Initio and SAP as Super
User. Full knowledge and understanding of System Development Life Cycle and
adhere to the rules and processes that govern SDLC compliance.
Current role includes compilation of Impact Assessments derived from fact
gathering from relevant stake holders using the Business Concept document as
source and then sizing of required changes with input from developers.
Previous role included MI reporting for Wealth Investment Management and
Insurance (WIMI) Central and Distribution. Various reports were compiled from
different sources and summarized using MS Excel and presented using MS
PowerPoint. Reports were produced on a weekly, monthly, six weekly and
annual bases. Reports included trends, top symptoms, age analysis,
comparisons, groupings, sub groupings etc. Extensive knowledge and skills in
the MS Suite, including MS Excel, MS Access and MS Power Point.

Development responsibilities: Natural Construct (object dialogue), analysis,

uninstalling programs, backup application objects, install new objects, services
and certificates, keep track/audit and logging deployment history, forward
notification to IT and business re: deployment details and release notes etc.
Production support: on/off-site support and after hours standby; monitoring
event viewer and central error log; checking general status and response times
on servers; prepare UAT data from production copy and scramble data etc.
MIS specialist: responsible for MI reporting for two sectors (WIMI Central and
Distribution); weekly, monthly, six weekly, annual and on request; data
collected from different sources e.g. ServiceNow, OASIS, AIFA Service Desk etc.
MS Excel used extensively for data preparation, manipulation, grouping, sub
grouping, collating and generating of different graphs which are presented
using MS PowerPoint.
