6. Opening Sequences That Have Influenced Our Opening Sequence
The opening sequence for thriller, ‘Taken’ influenced our own opening sequence as the film
includes similar themes and ideas that we are going to include in our own film/opening sequence.
For example, kidnapping, danger and revenge. The film also includes the father-daughter
relationship that we are also going to include in our film/opening sequence.
The opening sequence for the James Bond film, Casino Royale, influenced our opening sequence
as it has a similar plot line, where the character has to go on a mission to find and get what he
wants. There are also elements of action and danger which we want to include in our film/opening
sequence.
The opening sequence for The Bourne Identity influenced our opening sequence as it has similar
themes and characters that we want to include in our film.
For example, The Bourne Identity features a man who is being hunted
and he goes on a mission to find out why. We want to include this
element of danger and being hunted in out film/opening sequence.
