belief, but AIDS has got no colour, no
sex, no economic or social status, maybe
after looking for information and working
with the topic you will have a different
opinion.

collaborate in a 4 reporters group.
Each one of you will choose a role and
will research about an aspect of the
disease and its social discrimination.

- This Webquest has been designed for students
of Secondary Education of English as a Foreign
PROC-2 Language
- The required level is pre-intermediate or

intermediate. We think it can work better with
students in Bachillerato (16, 17 years old), but it

can also be done with students of 4º ESO (15

years old), if they like English.
- The objectives are to make students aware of
the risks and possibilities of getting AIDS.
From a linguistic point of view, students will
benefit from reading extensively in English and
will have to put into practice other skills such as
summarizing, writing an interview, etc.
- It can be carried out in class (3 or 4 sessions to
guide them through the process) and as part of
their homework.
