Integrated and seamless access to the rich resource collections held in libraries, museums and archives in UK HEIs Creation of a thorough and open aggregated layer - designed to work with all major search engines - of data about the resource collections Provision of a diverse range of innovative and personalised resource discovery services to students, teachers and researchers Avoidance of duplication of effort and increased efficiency Existing resource discovery services encouraged to develop and innovate Data will be available to commercial organisations to develop services as well Data and functionality will need to be diffused to other software and websites that are used by students, teachers and researchers
