This is the first article I ever wrote about perpetrators of child sexual abuse. I was struck by their self-centeredness. I realized then and there that child sexual abuse for perpetrators is all about them. Children are means to ends. The blame the victim ideologies that harm children so deeply and for so long became even more unfair. As harmful as child sexual abuse is, it still is all about perpetrators. Children for perpetrators are objects, no matter how much they say they experience love, bliss, fulfillment. Children often are afraid to tell because they think it's their fault. How cruel.
