• Responsible for daily maintenance operations and scheduling for a mixed fleet of 82 varying brand
buses, and multiple types of facility equipment and support vehicles on a fixed route service
• Responsible for scheduling and availability for 26 direct reports, both union and non-union
• Responsible for overseeing and adhering to a highly demanding multifaceted maintenance and
facility contract
• Responsible for adhering to a high maintenance standard set forth by the client to ensure an
extremely high quality product to their end user

Regional Maintenance Director California/Canada
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and service operations for 4 repair and maintenance
facilities, 2 in the US and 2 in Canada with 17 direct report employees through the 4 facilities, with
a diverse fleet of coaches including Prevost, Setra, Sunliner, Ford conversion units and Vanhool
coaches.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance and on time service for 14 to 30 units at each location.
• Created and employed a new preventive maintenance plan to cut cost by over 30% while
maintaining vehicles to manufacture specification for service.
• Developed a regional contact list for OTR breakdown coordination, to reduce downtime and ensure
quick and reliable repairs to minimize customer delays by coordinating with vendors and other
coach operators on the coaches’ route.
• Responsible for working with vendors on parts and service availability to ensure minimal downtime.
• Responsible for employee relations and scheduling to cover all maintenance and employee needs
using maintenance software and mechanic scheduling, and coordinating with central dispatching.
• Responsible for shop compliance with State, Federal and OSHA regulations in coordination with
company safety officers.
• Modernization of facilities, and good practices check sheet for optimal performance and ease of
use for employees to increase productivity by direct interaction with employees and building shop
layouts and check sheets by consulting with shop technicians and making adjustments from there
requests and suggestions.
• Created a maintenance scheduling program to ensure the on time service for coaches throughout
the fleet and to ensure that all coaches are kept in a safe and reliable service status.
• Worked in tandem with the executive maintenance director to comply and work inside a multimillion
dollar budget to cut spending and increase profits while maintaining units to superior operational
status
• Developed and implemented maintenance and personnel plan to ensure over 60 coaches were
ready for daily operation during the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.
