 Whatis newborn in a state of heat loss or a
temperature falling below the range of
homeostasis? Can be caused by stressors like,
 O2 deprivation, altered central nervous
 system, maternal drug consumption, low
 blood sugar, and environmental processes.
 Whatis a process of heat loss when baby’s
wet skin is exposed to the cooler room air?
 Whatis low blood sugar caused by
inadequate nutrient intake and over stressed
newborn using up fat stores and blood sugar?
