Audience Feedback
Documentary:
This feedback tells me that the interviews followed conventions and
that they were done in a professional standard. It also tells me that
the opening sequence could be improved. I would do this by
recording the footage instead of taking pictures to create a smoother
stop motion.
Radio Trailer:
This feedback tells me that the radio trailer was successful and would
intrigue people if it were real. It also tells me that the voice used could
have been more positive and lively. I would do this by telling the
person doing the voice of the radio trailer, what was needed by them,
in this case liveliness.
Print Advert:
This tells me that all conventions were followed in the print advert as
the audience was able to understand the topic and had all the
information needed (e.g scheduling). It also tells me that the
background of the image used could have been more interesting.
Documentary:
This audience feedback tells me that the archive footage (adverts
and video clips) were interesting to people watching. It also tells
me that this topic might not have been the most interesting
overall and that the opening sequence could have been
improved.
Radio Trailer:
This feedback tells me that the radio trailer was informative
enough for people to be able to find to watch if they wanted to. It
also tells me that the voice could be more interesting again.
Print Advert:
This feedback tells me that it was interesting and informative
about the documentary. It also tells me that it could have been
more colourful. I would improve this by using different colours
that related to sandwiches on the advert banners behind the text,
instead of black. I would also make the white background more
interesting. However, it was our target audience research at the
start of the planning that helped us make the choice of the
colours that we used.
Documentary:
This feedback tells me that the documentary was interesting
and entertaining enough for the audience and that the
interviews and music choice was good. It also tells me that
the opening sequence could have been improve like stated
before. And that the sound on some interviews were
obviously louder or quieter than others. To improve this i
would go through the whole documentary checking the sound
and changing its volume if it was too different to others.
Radio Trailer:
This feedback tells me that it followed conventions and was
informative, which is partially what I aimed for. It also tells
me that the radio advert should have included the ‘channel 4’
in it.
Print Advert:
This feedback tells me that the advert was good enough to
make someone want to watch it. It also told me that it could
have been more colourful and eye catching, I disagree with
this statement as the colours on the advert were chosen
specifically from the target audience research we did at the
start of the planning. The results from that told us to do it in
these colours.
This audience feedback from facebook tells me that the
people who watched it, did enjoy it. And the mise en
scene was correct for the interviews. The main
improvement found throughout the whole audience
feedback is the opening sequence. And also, some of the
footage’s quality could have been improved, to portray a
more professional look.
Overall I think that the documentary and ancillary texts
have been successful in following the codes and
conventions.

The main improvement found throughout the whole audience feedback is the opening sequence. And also, some of the footage’s quality could have been improved, to portray a more professional look. Overall I think that the documentary and ancillary texts have been successful in following the codes and conventions.
