We serve over 400 adults with 15 different programs that provide a
full circle of support in the areas of work, family, enrichment and self-
advocacy.
We employ nearly 200 well-trained, team-oriented staff members.
We have an annual operating budget of over $14 million.
For every tax dollar BARC receives, it returns $7.18 of total economic
benefits to the community.
Nearly 300 IDD adults earn a paycheck at BARC.

Barrel Recycling Program.

The MRF has undergone much growth since
its opening in 2010 with support from the
County of Kern, City of Bakersfield and local
businesses.
9. Tire Shredding
Clients are shredding tires from the City of
Bakersfield and M.T. Hauling.
