Project Specific Experience
2008 – Present:
Nanno Strat, LLC (formerly Williams Environmental & Geological Services, LLC), Tallahassee, FL
President
As Owner of Nanno Strat, LLC, I conduct nannofossil paleontology studies for offshore and onshore oil
exploration and production. Working primarily with Total Biostratigraphic Services, Inc., I provide major and
independent oil companies with chronostratigraphic interpretation of samples from drilling operations using
nannofossil marker taxa. My wellsite and office experience encompasses both biostratigraphic monitoring and
detailed studies of Pleistocene through Cretaceous age sediments encountered in deepwater exploration,
production and appraisal wells in the Gulf of Mexico. Wellsite monitoring and office studies included wells in
GardenBanks, Green Canyon, Keathley Canyon, Mississippi Canyon and Walker Ridge. Clients included BHP
Billiton, BP, Chevron, Cobalt, and Shell.
2006 – 2008:
URS Corporation, Tallahassee, FL
Retail Petroleum Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, I acquired contracts to perform environmental assessment and
remediation services at six petroleum contamination sites valued at approximately $400,000 to $650,000 per
site. I initiated and maintained business relationships with clients, provided regulatory and technical guidance
to clients at meetings with state regulatory personnel to help settle site cleanup issues, and reviewed technical
documents and cost proposals. To enhance business developmentopportunities and keep current with cleanup
program changes, I regularly attended industry and regulatory agency meetings, conferences and workshops
associated with the Florida Preapproval Cleanup Program.
Senior Consulting Geologist
In my role as a senior-level consultant to our commercial and industrial clients, I was often consulted to resolve
technical issues that arose during implementation of remedial measures. At an Air Force Base in Panama City,
Florida I was responsible for identifying the technical criteria needed to re-negotiate an unfavorable lump-sum
contract to a profitablecost-plus contract. I reviewed previousassessment and remediation projects conducted
at a petroleum contamination site and provided documentation to convince the US Air Force contract and
environmental officials that approximately $450,000 of remediation services should be conducted by URS. I
reviewed and certified project deliverables to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and meet
contract milestones.
Senior Project Manager
As a senior-level Project Manager, myclients included several national and international Fortune 500 companies
with projects encompassing a wide variety of geological and environmental disciplines. Most recently, in 2007
and 2008, as project manager for a mixed petroleum and hazardous waste site in Georgia, we delineated the
horizontal and vertical extent of chlorinated solvent and petroleum contamination in soil and groundwater.
Membrane Interface Probes and Cone Penetrometer Technology combined with Direct Push Technology and
on-site laboratory analysis were used to innovatively and cost-effectively characterize subsurface contaminants.
For the Procter & Gamble paper manufacturing plant in Albany, Georgia, I supervised the personnel and
resources to develop aWater Conservation Plan and obtain a 12.5-million gpd GroundwaterWithdrawalPermit

for the facility from the State of Georgia. As Project Manager for several Phase I and II Environmental Site
Assessments for real estate transactions, I ensured that all work was completed on time and within budget. All
assessments wereconducted according to ASTM Guidance Standards (E-1527protocols)utilizing state-of-the-
art Global Positioning Satellite and Geographical Information Systems to identify environmental concerns,
verify property boundaries, and evaluate sampling locations. These assessments included large industrial
facilities and commercial land developments and led to more extensive environmental services contracts from
several of these clients.
2005 – 2006
Handex of Florida, Tallahassee, FL
Preapproval Cleanup Program Director
In this role I provided corporate-level oversight of the company’s Preapproval Cleanup Program site
assessment and remediation services: a portfolio of over 450 petroleum contamination sites located throughout
the state of Florida with an average annual budget of approximately $20 million. I oversaw the work products
of over 25 Project Managers, ensured resource availability to meet deadlines, reviewed deliverables for
quality/conformity and stakeholder communication, approved cost proposals and work order scope, tracked
program budget, implemented corrective action, recruited and hired staff, conducted performance evaluations,
and supported company project managers and staff in the Florida Preapproval Cleanup Program groups. Day-
to-day responsibilities included budget projections, program finances, client communications, data
management, and client regulatory issues. To shorten deliverable turn-around time and improve
communication with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), I implemented a
streamlined process to resolve intra-company program- and project -related issues that arose between company
project managers and FDEP site managers.
1999 – 2005
MACTEC, Inc., Tallahassee, FL
Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, I built, maintained and grew a portfolio of over 150 petroleum
contamination cleanup sites in the state of Florida. To do so, I developed a state-wide network and database
to identify and contact owners and responsible parties with sites available for Florida Preapproval Cleanup
Program funding. Utilizing this system, I acquired contracts for the company to perform environmental
assessment and remediation services at over 100 petroleum contamination sites valued between $250,000 and
$400,000 per site. I initiated and maintained business relationships with clients, provided regulatory and
technical guidance at meetings with state regulatory agencies and reviewed technical documents and cost
proposals.

1991 – 1993
ABB Environmental Services, Tallahassee, FL
Field Operations Leader
As Field Operations Leader for the Navy C.L.E.A.N. Underground Storage Tank Department at Naval Air
Station Whiting Field, I directed daily assessment activities at seven sites on the base. I was instrumental in
determining assessment strategy at each site and assigned tasks to field staff, resolved technical issues,
maintained client relations, and supervised subcontractors. I also coordinated and supervised field operations
at several sites on the base that required OSHA Level B personal protection equipment. Site operations
demanded close coordination with base personnel to conduct contamination assessment activities within
restricted areas such as runways, taxiways, and aircraft service aprons. Large-scale projects on the base included
sites with contaminant plumes exceeding 125 acres in lateral extent and reaching depths of 150 feet.
1987 – 1991
