Special Agent, John Guandolo serves as the founder

supports a number of charitable organizations,
including the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
In a recent press release, the National MS Society
publicized a small study that investigated whether
exercise offered improved cognition benefits to
people with MS. Individuals with MS can experience
difficulty with information processing and memory,
which inspired researchers to gather comparative
data on the impact of non-aerobic and aerobic
exercises on cognition.

3.  The 24-person study discovered that 20 minutes
of guided yoga, stationary cycling, and
treadmill walking helped participants improve
their reaction times on a computerized task
from pre-exercise levels, in comparison to quiet
rest periods. Published in the Journal of Clinical
and Experimental Neuropsychology, the study
also found additional cognitive performance
benefits from treadmill walking. With this data,
researchers will be able to conduct larger
studies to develop optimal exercise therapies
for increased cognition in people with MS.
