The GIPC is the arm of the government focused on not
only attracting foreign investments, but also ensuring the
healthy economic development of the country. Recently,
GIPC CEO Mawhuena Trebarh spoke at the African
Humanitarian Fundraiser in Accra, Ghana, addressing the
phenomenon of Africa’s rising significance in the global
market.

One study from Euromonitor estimated that nearly

Campaign, urged business leaders to promote social
responsibility within corporate culture and
challenged them to invest in programs fighting child
poverty. Mrs. Trebarh closed with the statement: “The
more children we rescue out of poverty, the brighter
the hope of a risen and prosperous Africa.”
