Tell more or less like I did when I was teaching this. Even though my experiences are set in teacher education, I think the process may be helpful in perhaps organizing Professional Learning Communities?
What did SEL look like in language arts. Settled upon the idea of how “safe spaces” are created. Let me define “safe space” I’m interested in the organization of learning. I come from a sociocultural training that concerns itself with the design of learning environments which really helped me with my teaching. How do all the moving parts work together and create particular ethoses or social goals? I decided that the idea of a safe space is what undergirds my classrooms.
