FRANCE
• The second country we went to in Europe was
France. After taking an hour long ferry ride
from the White Cliffs of Dover in England to
the coast of Calais in France we were shuffled
onto a tour bus by our guide Chris. It was then
we got to really meet the 40 other people we
would be traveling with over the next few
days. There were people from all over the
  world, luckily everyone spoke English.
Chris.
The 6 hour bus ride from Calais to
 Paris was long but breathtaking.
The ‘chocolate milk’ we got contained
               no milk.
The homes were spectacular.
Steak-Frites
The first thing we
  did in Paris was
take a short cruise
 down the Seine
        River.
That night we went to the Arc de
            Triomphe.
I completely forgot what this place is
              called. 
Lastly we drove to see the Eiffel tower
             light show.
Hotel Breakfast (The next day)
That morning we went back to the Eiffel tower for a daytime
look. The line was three hours long but luckily since we were in a
tour group we had priority. It took only 10 minutes.

                                                  Did you know the
                                                  eiffel tower is
                                                  painted a different
                                                  shade every few
                                                  years? Right now
                                                  it’s a woody brown.
The views were spectacular.
Looking up from the middle of the
              tower.
The park below was very pretty.
One thing that surprised me about Paris was
how dirty everything was. Overall everything
looked nice, until you got up close.
Next Chris took us to Monmartre. The small
neighborhood in Paris seemed completely untouched
from modern society. It was beautiful!
The street was lined with small
cafés, street artist, and antique stores. The
      ground was even cobblestone!
Our lunch at a café was a bit
bland, well except for the éclair.
We went to a creperie, such a foreign
conept to me. A whole store devoted to
            crepes! YUM!
There were hundreds of different kinds
                  of
crepes, sweet, savory, chocolaty, salty.
Hands down the best thing I ate in
           France.!

(Not so much for Aundrea )
Nutella and Banana Crepe. MMM!
Around the corner from monmarte
     was a beautiful Basilica!

          Basilica of Sacre-Coeur
The view!
I attempted (and failed) to take my own
pictures of me in front of all the French
             monuments.
The last place we visited in Paris was
          the Notre Dame.
