LO4 Audio Production

1. At the beginning of the song the guitar is to over powering compared to the other sections so I
added distortion to quieten it a bit.
This microphone of the recording this picks up the sounds from around the room, I prefer the
sounds from the individual instruments so I have used distortion to completely get rid of the sound
from this recording point.

2. I adjusted some of the levels for the snare as I felt it needed to be a little louder so raised a few of
the levels but to make sure it was more of a distinct sound I added a gate only allowing a certain
section through so that sounds when the drum is not being hit is cut out.
I did the same for the kick drum as I feel that they should be made out clearer, the gap between the
beat of the snare is the kick drum so these need to be empahsised and make sure that the drums are
heard clearly, I also adjusted the volume on the mixer to make them louder.

3. For the bass this is constant throughout I mixed these together as they were easy to single out as 09
Shadows 08, I adjusted the EQ for the bass Amp 09 so that it was a bit louder and then adjusted the
levels of the mixer so that they were louder aswell.
I adjusted all the levels so that the instruments did not over power the vocals, the mixer volumes
were adjusted to fit the song.
