Participates in community events for the purposes of recruitment including representation, set-up and take-down of materials.
Provides comprehensive essential information to various audiences regarding PPEP TEC HIGH SCHOOL as it relates to
locations, academic program opportunities, admission requirements, enrollment procedures, and be able to knowledgably answer
related questions.
Works collaboratively with staff and current students to create participation in site-specific recruitment opportunities such as:
community involvement, volunteerism, and through current student successes, annual prom
After initial contact, responsible for follow-up communications with potential new student enrollees
Communicates with Lead Teacher(s) and site staff regarding information gathered that will help insure new student success such
as enrollee’s questions, concerns, goals, interests, new student mentoring
Works closely with Superintendent and other district/school staff to develop postings for social media.
Creates and distributes marketing materials for the purpose of student recruitment including, but not limited to: brochures, flyers,
and PowerPoint presentations
Assists the Superintendent, as applicable, in the creation and/or layout of public marketing materials such as billboards,
advertisements, radio ads, and commercials, etc., as opportunities present themselves
Works collaboratively with students to reduce dropout prevention rates
As acting editor of the La Tortuga, the district-wide student/parent school newspaper/newsletter, solicit district and site articles
and information, publish newspaper/newsletter and distribute hard copies where applicable and via PDF to sites quarterly

Coordinate with and assist the Director of Operations in providing McKinny-Vento student resources.
Provide Care and Concern support services such as food, clothing, shelter, and support in times of illness, death of a family
member, or similar crisis like intervention
Participates in home visits to investigate student issues or to communicate with possible recruits
