ITINERARY:
Day 1 HANOI ARRIVAL
Welcome to Vietnam!
On arrival in Noi Bai international airport, our driver will pick you up at airport. Transfer to
hotel Check in hotel.
Overnight in Elegance Hotel in Hanoi
Day 2 Hanoi city tour
8.30, A morning sightseeing tour features both cultural and historical highlights, comprising
the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, his Stilt house, One-Pillared pagoda, Temple of Literature and
Tran Quoc pagoda in West Lake. Lunch in a Koto – a non-profit restaurant with delicious
Vietnamese Food. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum and Hoan Kiem Lake. Water
puppet show at the end of the day. Back to hotel in the afternoon.
Overnight in Elegance Hotel in Hanoi
Day 3 Hanoi – Hoa Lu –Tam Coc
8.30, Transfer through the countryside to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the
10th century. On arrival visit Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh dynastic temple. Lunch in a
local restaurant. In the afternoon board a small sampan for a spectacular 2-hour cruise
through numerous waterways and beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice
paddies to the stunning Tam Coc caves. Back to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 4 Hanoi – Halong – Bai Tu Long – Cat Ba (L,D)
07.45–08.15: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi by shuttle bus
12.00: Embark at Hon Gai International harbor.
13.00: Check- in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing
13.30: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay, admiring by the fascinating
formations of the Bay.
15.00: Cruise to Cap La.
16.30: Enjoy paddling around Cap Lafishing village by kayak.
17.45: Back to junk for swimming or relaxing.
19.00: Have dinner and overnight on board in Cong Do

Day 5Thien Canh Son Cave – Hon Gai Harbor – Hanoi (B,L) – Hue – night train
07.30: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the
fresh air.
08.30: Visit Thien Canh Son cave. Then, enjoy swimming.
10.00: Start cruising towards the harbor while a Buffet lunch is served.
11.45: Disembark. Fare well.
16.00: Arrive in Hanoi.

Day 6 Hue city tour (B,L)
At 8am, depart from your hotel in Hue, we start our day with a leisurely boat trip on the
romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest religious
structures with its famous seven-storey octagonal-shaped tower. Continue with guided
touring around the Imperial Citadel, visiting the Noon Gate and Forbidden City. After
exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart for lunch at a local restaurant to try
some renowned Hue cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will drive out Hue outskirt to visit Tu Duc Tomb, the most typical tomb
in Hue which was used as the second palace of King Tu Duc before his death. Then visit Khai
Dinh Tomb, the gaudy and crumbling tomb, famous for its grandiose concrete structure,
which is completely unlike other tombs in Hue.
If time allowed, we can pay a visit at Dong Ba Market.
Driver will take you back hotel, enjoy Hue evening by your own.
Day 7 Hue – DMZ Dong Ha - Quang Tri - Con Tien - Doc Mieu - Hue (B,L)
8 am – Our guide and car will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city then transfer to Dong Ha
town to visit the Demilitarization Zone.

This tour to DMZ will take you back to the war sites including Hien Luong bridge, Museum, Ben
Hai river, the 17th Parallel, Vinh Moc tunnel and Cua Tung beach.
The driver will ride you back to Dong Ha town for having lunch at the restaurant. Pm – You will
go on visiting Dakrong bridge, Ho Chi Minh trail. You also have chance to meet Paco minority
people in the Viet Nam Central. The last place of this day trip is Khe Sanh Combat Base.
Then the drive transfers you back to Hue around 7pm
Day 8 Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B,L)
Driver will pick you up at your hotel after breakfast to tranfer Hoi An. On the way stop to visit
Lang Co beach, Marble Mountain, Hai Van Pass and Cham Museum in Danang. Lunch in local
restaurant. Check in hotel in Hoi An. Free for your own leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight
in Hoi An.
Day 9 Hoi An (B,L)
Have breakfast at your hotel. Guide pick you up around 8h30 AM for walking ancient quarter in
Hoi An then have lunch at restaurant in Hoi An.
Enjoy Cua Dai – a wonderful and tender beach on your afternoon.
Driver pick you up to tranfer Danang station to take train to Nha Trang at 7 PM
Day 10 Da Nang – Nha Trang (B)
Driver pick you up at Nha Trang station to check in hotel

Day 13 Nha Trang – Da Lat (B,L)
Driver will pick you up after your breakfast at Hotel around 8h30’. It takes about 4 hours to tranfer
Da Lat.

Visit Truc Lam Thien Vien Temple and continue to Bao Dai’s villa, a base for the last emperor on
his many hunting expeditions to the surrounding hills. Also visit the cathedral and Da Lat’s
bustling market, packed with produce such as locally grown flowers and fruits

Day 15 Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh (B,L)
Driver will pick you up after your breakfast at hotel to visit Crazy house ( Hang Nga guest hourse
and Art Galary), Dalat lake of Sights and Datanla waterfalls.

Day 16 Ho Chi Minh city tour (B,L)

Found things you want to visit on Trip Advisor or Lonely Planet? Our “Must-see” tour will take
you to Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, The Old Post Office and Notre Dame
Cathedral and end of the day with famous Ben Thanh Market. Lunch in local restaurant is
included.
Day 17 Ho Chi Minh – Cao Dai – Cu Chi (B,L)
8.30, departs to Tay Ninh, 100km north of Saigon. Visit the Caodai Holy See for the daily noontide
ceremony with hundreds of worshippers attired in lively red, yellow, blue and white and chanting
religious hymns. Attend the colorful mass at noon before lunch in a local restaurant and then
continue to Cu Chi tunnels, famed for its 200-kilometre-long tunnels, an incredible underground
network built by Vietcong during the Vietnam war. Back to hotel in the afternoon.
Day 18 Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Dong Hoa Hiep – Vinh Long (D,L)
Your wonderful trip visiting the fertile land of the biggest rice basket of Vietnam starts after your
boarding our charming wooden boat, the Mekong Queen to visit the colorful Cai Be floating
market, one of the many well-known and the biggest floating markets in the western region of
southern Vietnam, which was formed during the Nguyen Dynasty in the 19th century. Witness the
liveliness of this unique market with hundred boats filled with fruits, vegetables, and other
products making it very busy the whole day. Traders live on the river and some link their lives
with boats like their mobile houses for generations and their products are hung on bamboo poles
in front of the boats as an exclusive way of advertising. After the Cai Be floating market, pay a visit
to local factories where you will learn how pop rice, pop corn, rice paper and other local
products/crafts are made. Enjoy the local flavor with a delicious home hosted lunch at a 100-year
old Mandarin house, where at least four generations of the family have been living. After lunch,
enjoy a walk around the orchard to get to know about the family’s livelihood. Return to the main

boar by a fun sampan ride through a peaceful canal before taking 50 minute upstream cruise on the
Mekong River. En route, some possible stops at the local fruit orchard or bonsai for better
understandings about the local life. Upon arrival at the home stay located on a small island, take
some rest on your own or make some further own exploration of the village before returning for
dinner. The family will be your host this evening and they are happy to share with you in details
about the typical life in the Mekong region. Optional activity is to join with them in the kitchen for
part of the cooking process if you like.
- 09:00 am: Arrive at Cai Be pier and start boarding the Mekong Queen
- 09:15 am: Sight-see Cai Be floating market
- 09:25 am: Disembark and walk to visit the local old church and craft factories
- 10:10 am: Re-board the cruise and head to visit a brick factory
- 10:40 am: Visit the brick factory
- 11:00 am: Continue your boat trip toward the palm roof making family
- 11:20 am: Arrive and interact with the local artisans
- 11:35 am: Continue the boat trip
- 11:50 am: Disembark and walk to a local home for lunch
- 12:05 pm: Enjoy lunch
- 13:30 pm: Take the sampan ride back to your cruise
- 13:40 pm: Cruise upstream the Mekong River to a local home stay in Vinh Long
- 15:00 pm: Arrive and enjoy some resting on your own
- 19:00 pm: Enjoy the dinner with the family with some possible interaction with the members.

Day 19 Mekongdelta
After an intimate breakfast with the family, follow a small village path along the river to see the
daily life of the locals with the stop is a village market which is just held early in the morning for
the so busy farmers to buy things for the day. Immerse in the cultural interaction with the locals
before going back to the family to bid farewell to your hosts and cruise back to the mainland. Stop
on the way to visit Mr. Tam Ho (No.8 Tiger) family and take a walk around his nursery garden to
learn how the seedlings of several tropical fruit trees are grown in order to provide to almost all
farmers in the area. You then continue the excursion to the handicraft village to visit a ceramic tile
factory, a tofu and fish sauce factory, a blacksmith’s, a roof Thatcher’s and a rice husking factory
which are all run by the local families and also one of the places where some local people can earn
their living. Say goodbye to your local friends for the ride back to your hotel.

- 08:30 am: Farewell to the local family and cruise toward Vinh Long town
- 09:00 am: Stop to visit a local fruit garden of Mr. Tam Ho
- 09:30 am: Continue your cruise to a local brick factory
- 09:45 am: Arrive and visit the brick factory
- 10:15am: Continue your boat trip to Vinh Long main pier
- 10:30 am: Stop en route to visit and take photo of the fish farms
- 11:30 am: Arrive at Vinh Long pier. Disembark and bid farewell to your crew for a 3-hr drive
- back to Saigon

Day 20 Ho Chi Minh departure (B)
Have free time to enjoy the last day in Vietnam.
Driver pick you up to airport to take flight.

BOOKING PROCEDURE
(1) Travel Sense Asia requires at least 30% advance deposit to hold the booking. This amount
can be paid by credit card (through our secured payment system) , PayPal or bank transfer. We
accept Visa, Maser and AMEX Card.
(2) Remainder of total cost can be paid at Travel Sense Asia ’s office in cash or credit card.
HOTEL CHECK IN- CHECK OUT TIME

Hotel Check in time: 14.00- Check out time is 12h00.
Early check in or late checkout time may be granted subject to availability and agreement by
the participating hotels.
RESPONSIBILITY
Except in situations beyond human control, Travel Sense Asia will be held responsible for any
additional expense resulting from the change caused by us in itinerary, transportation,
accommodation.
Except in situations beyond human control, Travel Sense Asia shall provide compensatory
service for participants or refund the difference in payment for service rendered below
standard.
The detailed program and schedule flights are subject to changes by airline without prior
notice and in accordance with the weather conditions and daily operation of flights.
Consequently, itinerary concerned might be adjusted. If this occurs, Travel Sense Asia will do
all in its power to assist participants in boarding flights or finding alternative arrangements.
Note however that it is done as a courtesy to participants and Travel Sense Asia cannot be held
responsible for denied boarding, nor for additional costs occurred.
POLICY REGARDING CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE
At Travel Sense Asia we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our guests but we
must abide by the cancelation policy of each service provider.
Cancellation from the Customers:
Where the Customer cancels the Tour reservation, then the effective date of cancellation will be
the date the Company receives written notification. The cancellation charge to the Customer is
listed below.
• >30 days: deposit is forfeited
• 30-08 days: 50% of the Tour price is forfeited
• 07-03 days: 75% of the Tour price is forfeited
• 48 hours and no-show: 100% charge
For the avoidance of doubt, since some suppliers (hotels, cruise companies) have cancellation
policies that are different from those of Travel Sense Asia, the cancellation charge may, at the
Company’s discretion, be adjusted accordingly.
B. Cancellation by Travel Sense Asia
If the Tour is not paid for by the due date, the Company shall have the right to cancel the Tour.
If we, at the request of the Customer, agrees to delay cancellation of the Tour then the
Company still cancels the Tour for the Customer’s non-payment, the cancellation charges set
out shall apply and be payable by the Customer.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Sense Asia highly recommends you to have travel insurance when travelling around
Asia.
