Thank you for choosing Kah‐Nee‐Ta Resort for your upcoming event.
We look forward to hosting your event and providing your guests with personalized, professional service.
If you have questions about the following guidelines, please contact your Sales or Catering representative.
MENUS
Enclosed are the Kah‐Nee‐Ta Resort & Spa Catering Menus. The following menus will help to give you a sampling of
our menus and pricing. We will be more than happy to personalize a menu to suit your group’s needs. Please note
that all food and beverage prices are subject to a 20% service charge.
FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICIES
All food and beverage must be purchased solely through Kah‐Nee‐Ta Resort and consumed on the premises.
If special dietary needs are required for certain guests, arrangements can be made during the initial menu
selection. No outside food or beverage of any kind may be brought into Kah‐Nee‐Ta’s public rooms. Food may not
be taken off premises after it has been prepared and served to our guests.
MENU SELECTIONS
Final menu selections must be submitted to the Convention Services Coordinator no later than 30 days prior to your
event. If your selection is not received 30 days prior to your event, your preferred choices may not be guaranteed.
GUARANTEES
Guarantees are the number of guests attending each function. We require the guaranteed number of guests 3 days
prior to arrival for all events. You will be charged for the guaranteed number or the actual number of attendees,
whichever is greater.
MENU SPLITS
Kah‐Nee‐Ta will be happy to allow splits on entrées. There will be a choice of two menu options only. Only
vegetarian or special dietary needs will constitute a third entrée. Please note that all split entrée menus will be
charged at the price of the more expensive entrée price.
CHILDREN
Children’s pricing is available for all buffet selections. Children 3 and under are free. Children 3‐12 are at a 50%
discount and children 13 and older will be charged as adults. For plated functions, children may be served adult
entrees at the regular menu price or choose from our special children’s menu.
BEVERAGE SERVICE
Hosted bar – the client is sponsoring the bar service. A 20% service charge is added to the final tab.
No‐host bar – the individual guests purchase their own drinks.
Both hosted and no‐host bars have a $100 setup fee.
If a minimum of $200 in sales is met, the fee is waived.
Cocktail servers are available at a hosted or no‐host function at $25 per hour, per server.

BIRD IN CLAY
Adapted from the old customs when wild game birds were wrapped in clay and baked
in the coals of campfires. Today, we use a tender game hen delicately seasoned, stuffed with
dried fruit and rice, wrapped in baker’s clay and slowly cooked in its own juices.
Served at your table with the traditional story of its history, the bird in clay is then broken open
with a juniper mallet.
