I Special needs students learn
about community with visits
Box Elder High School special needs students have been learn­
ing about their community tlilS vear by visiting many local attrac­
tions and businesses.
The program is part of educator Karen Bird's master's degree
project in secondary special education and transition to get the stu­
dents into their community. Below are photos from a few of those
visits this year.
In October. the students visited the Brigham City Museum-Gallery of
Art where they each picked their favorite of the artwork on display.
