Pharmacyhas beenservingthe Owassocommunitysince 2001. Pursuit Wellnessisthe innovative
approach to communityhealth. PursuitWellnesshasbeencreatedbasedonthe conceptthathealthisa
context.The businessmodel isone of providing health assessment,evaluation,education,planning,and
supporttothe individual,family,business,andthe communityinordertocreate a contextor culture,if

medicationmanagementanddiseaseself-managementtraining.We are nationallyaccreditedbyAADE
inDiabetesSelf-ManagementTraining. Planningecompassesanindividuallydesigned,multip-pronged
approach to implementationof healthcorrection.Eachunique planwilltake intoconsiderationcurrent
medical conditions,socio-economicfactors,nutritionalstatusandpersonal goalsforhealth. Support
representsthe ongoingstructure neededtoestablishandmaintainapersonal culture of health.Weekly
contact, supportgroups,educational seminars,socialmediaupdatesare partsof our ongoingsupport
plan.
Our customerscurrentlyincludeindividuals,families,andbusinesseswithinthe OwassoandTulsa,
Oklahomametropolitanarea.We alsopartnerwithareahealthpractitionersinfacilitatingoptimal
healthoutcomesfortheirpatients.
While the competitive encironmentforpharmacyisa greatchallenge (ie.Large chains,mail order,
Canadianinternet,etc.) the environmentforPursuitWellness’s healthpromotionandmaintenance is
much more attractive.Several practitionerspromote piecesof health,butlackthe integrationthatis

Commerce.We employ15 individualswithinthe communitywithanannual payroll inexcessof
$600,000 annually.We are alsoan experientialpractice site forSouthwestOklahomaState Collegeof
Oharmacyand Universityof OklahomaCollege of Pharmacy.We contribute tothe trainingof future
pharmacyprofessionals.Withthe adventof mail orderpharmacy,we oftenprovide the missing
