To whom it may concern,
It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Katie Walsh, our ASWSU-
Global Secretary and Technology Committee Chair. Prior to her current position, Katie
served as Treasurer Pro-tem until a vacancy pulled her into our Executive group as
Secretary of the organization. She has very recently taken over our social media
outreach to make sure we are properly connected to our stakeholders; a project that
has shown immediate, positive results.
I have observed that Katie effectively and efficiently communicates with members of
our team, volunteers that serve on her committee, plus the many partners to our
organization. She has been a tremendous asset by her recruiting efforts to bring on
needed talent to the organization. Additionally, Katie is active in helping us review
and revise our Constitution and Bylaws, an effort where her compliance background
has clearly stood out and will benefit this organization long into the future. She
enthusiastically took on the planning of our biggest student event, adding exciting
new elements to the program, and then set out creating an additional student event
from scratch with limited resources to address the needs of an underserved segment
of our student body.
I will miss her cheerful nature and resourcefulness when our term is completed. I
have no reservations recommending Katie for whatever opportunity she is in
consideration for having full confidence that she will exceed any expectations held of
her.
Sincerely,
John D. Larson
President, ASWSU Global
