     BOOK REVIEW

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dan Brown has his own style. He has so far
written only 5 books-all of them masterpieces.
He describes each and every thing in detail.
His style of writing is evident of the amount of
effort and research work he puts for each
novel.
He describes each and every moment of the
storyline, which makes his books gripping.
He tells the same things more than one time but from
the views of different characters- both good and
bad.
This feature sometimes makes us see even the bad
ones as the good ones as it give the specific and
convincing reason why a certain character does
certain things.
Such features of his writing make him one of the best.
MAIN CHARACTERS
• Robert Langdon • Bishop Aringarosa

• Sophie Neveu • Bezu Fache

• Sir Leigh Teabing • Silas

• Jacques Saunière • Rémy Legaludec
SUMMARY
• The Da Vinci Code is a 2003 mystery-detective novel written by Dan
  Brown.

• It follows symbologist Robert Langdon and Sophie Neveu as they
investigate a murder in Paris's Louvre Museum and discover a battle
between the Priory of Sion and Opus Dei over the possibility of Jesus
having been married to Mary Magdalene.

• The title of the novel refers to, among other things, the fact that the
murder victim is found in the Grand Gallery of the Louvre, naked and
posed like Leonardo da Vinci's famous drawing, the Vitruvian Man, with
a cryptic message written beside his body and a pentacle drawn on his
  chest in his own blood.
• The novel is part of the exploration of alternative religious history,
whose central plot point is that the Merovingian kings of France were
descendants from the bloodline of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene,
ideas derived from Clive Prince's The Templar Revelation and books by
  Margaret Starbird.
• As the story progresses, Langdon finds himself on the run from the
French police, along with Sophie Neveu, accused of murdering four
public faces, and stealing a package from the Swiss bank.
• The package which he has now, is actually a map- a kryptos,
designed by Jacques Saunière, that leads to the hiding place of the
  holy grail.
• The rest of the story lies on how Robert and Sophie
evade the French Police, and break the Da Vinci Code.
MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS
• My all time favourite character is the one and only
  Robert Langdon.
• Anybody would just love him because he is the specialist
in symbols, he’s a professor in Harvard University.
• He kind of deciphers any kind of cryptex or something
  like that.
MY OPINIONS
• I just loved this book. It may even rewrite the Christian
  history.
• It tells the story from different angles, shows the views
and opinions of various characters to make us
  understand them better.
• This feature of this book explains us the reason for
  specific actions of the characters.
• I don’t think this book can be any better. As many say, it
  is a blockbuster perfection.
