buildings.
o City of London – Goldman Sachs. Regular searches of buildings and vehicles.
o Occasional search work for Royal Marines and visiting International Government officials.
o Stansted Airport. Saudi Royal Family. Searches conducted on aircraft, freight containers and baggage.
o Headingley & Edgbaston Cricket Grounds. Searches of Press/Broadcasting Offices and Changing rooms.
o East Midlands Airport. Airside cargo searches conducted on ‘Belt’ for DHL.
 Drugs Detection Dog taskings:

Sep 1974 – Mar 2012. Operational Service with HM Forces
 Afghanistan – War fighting as well as advisor to Afghan National Army for Artillery procedures,
Recce development and Engineer search matters.
 Iraq – War fighting as well as working with Weapons Inspectorate to gather intelligence and complete
destruction of small arms and explosive/ordnance.
 Balkans (Bosnia and Kosovo) – Peacekeeping duties to prevent further genocide of local population.
 Belize – Anti Narcotics patrolling, including border incursion and hostage negotiations.
 Sinai – Multi-National Organization. Ensured region remained a demilitarized zone. Included patrols of
land as well as sea areas, combating illegal activity and smuggling. Conducted regular mine detection and disposal
patrols.
 Cyprus – Counter border incursion patrols. Liaison with Greek/Turkish Military.
 Northern Ireland – Peacekeeping role which included intelligence gathering, patrolling, riot control
and covert ops.
 Hong Kong – Policed border crossing points to ensure no smuggling or illegal immigrant movement
took place.
