For ideas I thought of maybe a cliché boy meets girl thing. But it had to be professional and
contemporary. Also have a club scene that I have talked about in previous posts. The idea of lyrics
loosely creating a narrative is one if done right could work. Also while talking to team members we
have tried to include a few ideas like starting the narrative at the end and then working towards it in
the song. Also including maybe some risky footage of a couple hooking up in bed and maybe some
scenes of people at a club, the less glamorous parts like fights, throwing up or anything we can get
away with. We wanted to show the name of the track on an iPod to include a promotion within the
video. The main story idea was to be a girl and boy waking up after a wild night and being shocked,
then flash back to the preparation of the party as we introduce the characters and then the getting
ready and going to the party separately as strangers, a group of boys and a group of girls and they
brush past each other as they enter the club. This can be shown quickly and the editing should be in
time with the music. As we get to the drop, we show the party and here the editing must cut in
rhythm and we can intercut with close ups and performance shots along with maybe fights or people
throwing up in the toilets, people outside the club having a cigarette or whatever we can get to film.
The idea is to get extra shots we can include as bonus footage. Also we would like to try to do a time
laps where the performer is standing and singing in real time while the rest of everyone is all the
background and people are time lapsed.
