1. The one who brings out the worst in you
This is the guy that you probably went back to..and went back to again.
You fought constantly and both of you knew deep down that you were
terrible for each other, but whether it was the hot sex or just the history-
something always pulled you back. Eventually you learn that the
relationship is a vicious cycle and simply too much work .

2. The Deadbeat
Usually a struggling musician, artist, or free spirited guy that has no plan for a
future. This is the boyfriend that your parents hated, your friends thought you
could do better and now you look back and wonder, “what in the world was I
thinking!” Don’t worry if you look back and cringe at the thought that you
wasted months or even years of your life with this guy- he taught you that you
deserve better.

3. The Narcissist
This guy is usually a player who thinks he’s all that and more. He spends
more time checking himself out than you. After you realize that his looks will
never make up for his personality, intelligence and maybe even some other
areas where he’s lacking- you realize that this guy will never love anyone as
much as he loves himself. You want someone who actually cares what you
have to say instead of his reflection.

4. The Jealous Boyfriend
This is the guy who was so suspicious of everything you did that you
couldn’t call your mom without him listening in on the conversation. Not
only does it mean there is no trust in the relationship- but it’s also annoying.
You want someone who believes you when you just want to go have a drink
with the girls.

5. The Sensitive Guy
Though we all say that we want a sensitive guy, but this one pushed it a little
too far. Mushy poems about your future kids, tearful nights over a Meg Ryan
movie, and drama filled nights that had you wanting to get him some Midol.

6. The Controlling Boyfriend
This is the guy who had to have control of everything, from where you
went to dinner to how you wore your hair. He would tell you not to hang
out with certain people and not to wear certain clothing. Eventually you
realize that you control your own life, and you want someone to love you
for who you are not what they want you to be.

He was handsome, smart, rich, and all of your friends and family swooned
