The SI STAR Dynamics: SI Leader Time Week 14: (4 – 6.75 hours) 11/21 – 11/25 (CLASSES FOLLOW THURSDAY SCHEDULE NOVEMBER 22, NO CLASSES NOVEMBER 24 AND 25)   Attend STAR Class (1.25 – 4 hours) Plan STAR review session (1/2 hour) Facilitate STAR review session (1.5 hours) Summarize STAR review session (15 minutes) Work on and upload final time management plan (1/2 hour) Week 13: (8.75 – 10.25) 11/14 – 11/18 Weekly mentoring  meeting (1/2 hour) Meet with instructor (15 minutes) Attend STAR class (2.5 – 4 hours) Plan STAR review sessions  (1 hour) Facilitate STAR review sessions (3 hours) Summarize STAR review sessions  (1/2 hour) Upload review session plans and summaries (10 minutes) Upload attendance & review session resources (10 minutes) Post Coaching and Mentoring Program info on social networks (10 minutes) Respond to 6th ongoing training mashup (1/2 hour)  
The SI STAR Roles in Relation to the Dynamics ,[object Object]
Instructors set goals for their students, communicate those goals through modeling and practice of effective processes for both their students and STAR Coach/SI Leader, and mentor students and the Star Coach in the effective uses of resources and time relevant to the mastery of historically difficult course content and skills.Gina Rae Foster, The STAR Model:  A Dynamic Approach to Teaching & Learning

Mentors/Assistant Supervisors meet weekly with their assigned STAR Coach/SI Leader to communicate about the STAR review sessions and program needs, to assist with effective time management,processes, and use of resources, and to review goals for short- and long-term professional development.
