restaurant In Chengdu. It was a fun and informative night of brainstorming!

April the 15th saw the launch of Litchi Mind's Dinner Club. Curated by guest chefs from
all over the world, the Dinner Club is going to bring exclusive pop-up dining experiences
to some Chengdu's best-kept secret locations.
The first dinner club meeting took place on the roof top of China Groove, Lan Kwai
Fong's hotspot. Guests were treated to a four course dinner prepared by our guest Chef
Callum Merriman. Hailing from Scotland, trained in France and working all around the
world, Callum served up his exquisite take on Northern European cuisine to 40 guests
who represented a good cross-section of Chengdu's personalities. From the usual suspects
representing MNCs, restauranteurs and the media, Litchi Mind was also joined by a few
local celebrities and models. As a testament to the chef's cooking, even the models
couldn't resist finishing Callum's Death by Chocolate Tort!

A sudden storm swept through Chengdu, the temperature dropped at least 10 degrees,
though this didn’t affect Litchi Mind’s 2nd private Dinner Club. This time held in “The
Boutique” – located at the hidden roof terrace of Shangri-La Hotel.
Over 50 participants represented a good cross-section of Chengdu’s personalities –
Executives from Volvo, the Consulate General of France, Auchan Group, Burberry, OCBC
Bank, Yongguan HMY Group, Royal Canin China, Chengdu welfare organizations Service
Park, Oxford International College Of Chengdu, Belgium model and local mainstream
media. They enjoyed a customized dinner prepared by Italian star Chef Andrea Benatti,
who was consecutively rated “Extraordinary” in the Zagat Guidebook for 8 years.
This time we worked with an open-kitchen, so our guests could observe/ learn or even
work together with the Chef. Moreover, there were two art exhibitions, featuring
paintings by migrant workers children and luxury Mosaics to be found in top-ranking
hotels in Europe and the Middle East.

Litchi Mind's May 27th Dinner Club, in cooperation with the Swiss watch brand Perrelet,
was held at the newly opened Oakwood hidden roof terrace. This event featured a "Time
Travel" art exhibition, live graffiti, Perrelet luxury watches showcase, and a display of one
of Western China's most influenced organic food corporate - Sunyuki.
Among the exclusive 50 attendees were xecutives from OCBC Bank, Singapore United
Overseas Bank, Volvo, Burberry, Siemens, Jones Lang LaSalle and various finance / IT
enterprises. They enjoyed a customized dinner prepared by Thai celebrity Chef Nat, who
used to serve the Royal Thai Family.
