3. Brunnen This used to be the Grand Hotel in Brunnen owned by my grandmother’s parents. Now it has new owners and has been remolded and the name of the hotel today is “Grand Palais Brunnen”.
4. Brunnen Brunnen is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne and views can be seen of Urnersee to the East and across to the Bürgenstock and Gotthard Massif according to the website Switzerland Tourism.

6. Lucerne This is Chapel Bridge and Lake Lucerne and is 204m and (607ft. long bridge that crosses the Reuss River (Frysinger). This wooden bridge is the oldest in Europe and one of Switzerland’s main tourist attractions (Frysinger). 7. Lucerne Kapellbrucke (Chapel Bridge) has paintings inside of the bridge and was constructed in 1333 (Frysinger). These paintings are from the 17 th century depicting events from Luzern’s history (Frysinger). Then in 1993 the majority of the bridge was destroyed in a fire, although the bridge was quickly rebuilt. There are 110 paintings in all.

9. Stoos In the village of Stoos these chair lifts take you up to Fronalpstock mountain that is 1922m up the mountain, according from My Switzerland . The My Switzerland website states, that Stoos is a family-friendly destination and is located in Schwyz in the heart of Central Switzerland that is high above Lucerne.
10. Stoos Stoos Express train goes up the Fronalpstock mountain and has steep funicular railways ( My Switzerland) . Taking the train you can see great scenery and all of the mountains and houses in route.
