Through the collaboration, DR and KulturarvNord are going to develop eleven apps in total - one for each museum in the collaboration and a joint app. The project is based on open data, open source and generic app-modules. Each app is dynamic, so it allows the museums to use different modules and customize the app to their specific communication needs.
Each museum is in charge of its own content development and to upload the content to the platform. The content is shared and pulled directly from CHAOS: \ _. This flexible system means that the museums can constantly change and add new content, e.g. about new special exhibitions - without the users having to upload the same content to different CMS’s.

28. Conclusions so far
• Content is (still) king
• Build a strong platform, that
can provide content to future
products and collaborations
• Share experiences. Help
other museums with things
you're good at. The more
people that get good
experiences at the museum -
the more will visit the
museums in general.

29. Conclusions so far
• Before: > 20 % of budget to
proprietary software, license
etc.
• Now: < 5% of budget to
server, update open source
software
