2. Forms Design
The Forms Designer in eMedRec creates Barcoded
Forms. The Barcode holds the unique identification
parameters of the patient, the Tab to which the Form is
to be filed, the type of document and the date of service
Barcoded Forms are used by the practice to eliminate
the manual indexing (filing) of patient chart Forms
The Designer allows for the inking to an external Word
document that can be edited outside of the eMedRec
charting software, or created entirely within the program
Forms may be created from an existing Microsoft
Word .rtf file
3. Creating Forms Packages
Select Forms then Packages from the
menu
In the Package Types window you may
Add, Delete or Edit package names
Click Add, and enter the Package Name
and Package Description. Click Save
4. Mapping Forms to a Package
To Map the Forms to Packages, select
Forms then Map
For each Package, Map the desired
Forms as contents
Select Form name, then select the target
Package from the drop down lists
Save changes
