5. VACANCY – TECHNICAL CONSULTANT APS
CONNECTIVATE
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
As technical consultant your role is to assure a swift and correct integration of advanced planning tools
in the customer’s IT environment. You assist in determining the correct sizing and architecture of the
technical platform and define, together with the customer, an optimal support organization to maximize
the uptime of the planning solution in a complex, multi-user environment. During the exploitation of the
solution you remain the first contact point for our customers and you take responsibility to assure that
issues are resolved as quickly, efficiently and durably as possible.
• You participate in several projects aiming at the optimization of planning organizations.
• As Technical Consultant you are responsible for successfully embedding the planning technology in
the infrastructure of the customer.
• You are involved in determining the sizing and architecture of the solution and defining, in
cooperation with the customer, the best administration and support organization that guarantees an
optimal use of the planning solution.
• Considering that the planning of a company is one of the most important factors for success, you
focus strongly on stability, robustness and maximal availability.
• During the exploitation of the planning solution, you remain the first contact for the customer and
you assure a swift follow up of issues.
• You are successful in these projects because of your flexibility, critical approach, customer service
mindset and strong knowhow.

• Knowledge and experience in administration of an IT infrastructure

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle database technology or Quintiq is an asset

7. VACANCY – BUSINESS CONSULTANT APS
CONNECTIVATE
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
The role of the senior business consultant is to assist our customers in assessing their current planning
processes, re-organize those processes to get a better performance, help them in formulating the
correct requirements, define the planning tool that best suit their purposes, and assist in the
implementation. The senior business consultant takes a leading role in multiple customer projects
simultaneously. (S)he acts as an on-the-job coach for his more junior colleague business consultant
assigned to those projects. We expect our senior business consultants to be experienced with planning
processes and planning tools, to be creative and visionary, to be able to guide our customers in shaping
their future, and to be able to assist our project managers to deliver our projects on time and within
budget. As a senior business consultant you will also play an important role in pre-sales activities:
prepare solution vision presentations, proof of concepts and proposal writing.
• You have the skills to guide a customer through the change process involved in the implementation
of a new planning solution.
• You are familiar with planning and optimization.
• You think ‘innovative’ and ‘out of the box’; find that solution that gives the customer the highest
added value.
• You can ‘carry’ a project, take responsibility, and enable your colleagues to grow and to learn from
your experience.
• You are successful in these projects because of your flexibility, critical approach, customer service
mindset and strong knowhow.
• You are used to work with customers in different languages, including Dutch, English and French.

8. VACANCY – BUSINESS CONSULTANT APS
CONNECTIVATE
FUNCTION REQUIREMENTS
• Passion for quality

• Strong technical writing skills
• At least five year experience in consulting in a planning related context
• Eager to work with innovative technologies and solutions
• Experience with optimization algorithms is an asset
• Affinity with IT solutions or experience with programming of scripting languages is an asset
