CONVENTION OF CHOSEN
GENRE – GCSE MEDIA

2. ABOUT MY GENRE:
• My genre is going to be action/comedy to create a sense of violence but humour.
• We can expect guns, punching, swearing, death and pain in the action genre. I know
that because James Bond is an action film series and in every single film, there was
all of the examples above
• In Taken 1, 2 and 3, there were all of the examples above.
• We can expect laughter, inappropriate behaviour, inappropriate language and
romance. I know that because in a TV comedy series called the inbetweeners, there
were all of the above in the series.
• Also, in another comedy film called Ted, there were all of the above in the movie.
