1. MONDAY 20 JUNE
This pre-event day will gather three different communities (around 500 people):
• Ashoka staff
• All the Fellows present at the event
• External participants pre-assigned to each of the 11 Europe-focused clusters.
That is why, during this day, two parallel tracks will be available:
• The Ashoka Community Day which will aim to address Fellows’ needs (get to know Ashoka, solve strategic
problems, …)
• Solutions for a better Europe (clusters), which will aim at identifying concrete solutions from the social
entrepreneurs experience to address 11 of the most pressing social issues in Europe (the preparation work
has started several months ago)
During the day, some sessions will gather all these participants and some will be dedicated to specific audience:

2. ASHOKA COMMUNITY DAY (the ORIENTATION): Get to know Ashoka!
Ashoka Fellows from across Europe and around the world are invited to discover, learn from and brainstorm
with each other about common issues, and to get an overview of the resources and programs that Ashoka
offers and coordinates for Fellows and other changemakers around the globe.
Who should participate? All Ashoka Fellows and staff who have not been pre-assigned to thematic cluster
working groups whose focus is Europe.

3. CLUSTERS
The clusters are 11 thematic working groups whose participants have been identified in advance (Fellows,
public and private actors). Their objective is to identify concrete solutions on each of their thematic issue
through hybrid collaborations and partnerships A strong preparation work has been led during the last months.
They will work all Monday on their topic.
It will be possible to join their reflexion on Tuesday at lunchtime where there will be a public restitution.
Who should participate? Europe Ashoka staff members and Ashoka Fellows’ whose work is relevant to the
specific topics in the European context. Fellows and staff participants in Clusters will have been previously
contacted. Public and private actors already identified.
