Libraries Development Initiative
• The Arts Council’s first specific funding initiative
• Looking at innovative and sustainable new models of service delivery
• 13 grants of up to £20k awarded in Feb 2012 and due to complete in March 2013
• Applications were invited under the following four themes:

achieve wider community

This is a programme of research and
consultation which will help the Arts
Council develop a long-term vision for
public libraries in England
