4. Visit the YouTube website in
order to get started. Before
you start an account,
understand a few things:
• In creating a YouTube account, you are also creating a Gmail account.
This will appear as [YouTube username]@gmail.com.
• In creating a YouTube account, you are also creating a Google+
account. Google+ is Google's social network, similar to Facebook. You
will be able to adjust your setting in the Google+ tab at the top of your
browser when you log in to YouTube or Gmail. If you do not want a
Google+ account, you can delete it while still keeping your YouTube
account.
• What you do on YouTube is separate from what you do on Google's
various sister sites. If you do something on YouTube, it will not be
visible on Google+, for example.

their brand on other social media platforms. This helps give them a
constant look and message across all platforms

gives their YouTube channel a look of professionalism.
They have also added links to their banner indicating which other social
media platforms they are on. This can be a good way drive people to Like

LinkedIn has over 175 million members worldwide.
LinkedIn operates the world’s largest professional network on the
Internet with more than 225 million members in over 200
countries and territories.
Today LinkedIn gains 1 million new users every 12 days, or 2 new

Over 1 million groups have been set up on LinkedIn
Professionals are signing up to join LinkedIn at a rate of more
than two new members per second.
There are over 30 million students and recent college graduates
on LinkedIn. They are LinkedIn's fastest-growing demographic.

your official email id. Bear in mind
that your email address should

14. 3. This will create a company page on LinkedIn. The individual profile
owner who has created the company page should be able to see the Edit
Page section on the top right of the company page. To be able to make
status updates via your company page, you will have to click on Edit Page
and assign admins for the company page.
4. It is recommended to have designated admins for your company page.
When you click Edit Page, you will have an option of filling in details like –
company size, company website, company description, company location
and other details. If you do not designate admins for your company page,
anyone who is an employee of the company (LinkedIn recognises this by
their official email address ) can edit the information on your page.

15. 5. Next, head to the Products & Services tab on the top, just below the
company page name, right next to the Home tab. There’s an edit
option there as well. The admin can add the company's services/
products on this tab.
6. Finally, the Careers tab located to the left of the products and
services tab allows you to post a job as a page admin and showcase
your company culture.
If you follow the above six steps, you will have an optimised LinkedIn
company page which will be indexed by Google and the other search
engines. A preview of your completed company page is not available.
