This document discusses several potential applications of the Open Archives Initiative's Object Reuse and Exchange (ORE) standard based on the Dutch repository infrastructure. It describes using ORE to create compound digital objects that aggregate publications with their related datasets. This allows establishing detailed relationships between publications and datasets. It also outlines a demonstrator project called SamenInDelen that aims to create six enhanced publications combining publications with different types of research data, like survey data and experimental economics data. The demonstrator will evaluate the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) standard and create a sustainable environment for these enhanced publications.
